Program Director/ owner: Vera-Marie Lee:

Grew up locally on the North Shore of Oahu and has been active in her local horse community since childhood, participating in the High School Rodeo Association, Future Farmers of America , and 4-H. She is a Certified Equine Specialist for an International equine-therapy non-profit organization called EAGALA, the equine-assisted growth and learning association. She is the state of hawaii’s Networking Coordinator, a position responsible for developing and proliferating the equine therapy industry here in the islands. Shes is currently pursueing certification by another organization called PATH, the professional association for therapeutic horsemanship, These Dual certifications will enable her to provide services for both physical and cognitive challenges as she builds a multifaceted program to help a wide range of clientele. She is interested in helping multiple demographics, however she has taken a special interest in serving the Military Population, specifically those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or Grief.  Ms. Lee is in her 11th year of employment at turtle bay resort stables and has been in a supervisory role for the past 7.

Professionally Certified and Insured. No Riding or horse experience is necessary to participate in any of our programs. Any age or ability level welcome.
